Active since 1994 (as phroq until 2009) in sound and live
performance, Francisco Meirino explores the tension
between programmable material and the potential for its
failure. He works mainly with the computer, magnetic
fields detectors, tape recorders, contact microphones and
various electroacoustic devices.
More than 150 live performances in various venues and
festivals in Europe, Japan and North America.
Over the years, Francisco Meirino had the honor to collaborate
on studio and live with great artists such as :
